The price of DStv and GOtv subscriptions in Uganda will increase, according to a statement from MultiChoice Uganda. According to separate announcements made by DStv and GOtv on their respective Twitter accounts, the changes will go into effect on April 1st.


Subscribers to GOtv Lite will now pay sh15,000 per month, up from sh14,000, and subscribers to GOtv Value will now pay sh21,000, up from sh19,000. Customers of GOtv Plus will pay an additional sh2,000, bringing the total to sh31,000. GOtv Max subscribers pay 49,000 shillings instead of 45,000 shillings, and GOtv Supa subscribers pay 65,000 shillings instead of 58,000 shillings.

DSTV, Xtra View or PVR customers pay Shs 50,000 instead of Shs 45,000, Lumba package subscribers pay Shs 16,000 instead of Shs 15,000, Access Bouquet customers pay Shs 16,000 instead of Shs 39,000 Now pays Shs 43,000. , Compact customers pay 104,000 Shs instead of 95,000 Shs, Compact Plus customers pay 160,000 Shs instead of 150,000 Shs, and Premium customers pay 275 Shs 000.

MultiChoice said its decision to raise subscription fees was based on Uganda's economic outlook.
